At Design Stories, we create new Christmas cards every year.
This year, we've collaborated with chic chic forest, a talented embroidery artist currently based in Taiwan.
She hand-embroidered each and every design element, including a variety of motifs from Taiwan, as well as Christmas flowers and leaves.
We designed each of these embroideries onto the cards, creating very bright and festive cards.
Please take a look into the fine details in each stitch: the tiny windows of Taipei 101, the cross-section of a slightly swollen starfruit, inside of the flowers, and more. This hand-embroidered artwork offers a unique charm which is different from watercolor paintings, and we hope both senders and receivers of these cards will enjoy this beauty.
