Strolling around the local markets in Taiwan is exciting. There are many kinds of vegetables that we don't see in other countries, and I try to find out how to cook them.
I also can feel the seasons of the year through the vegetables, such as "Oh, bamboo shoots are on sale!," or "Taiwanese avocados are getting cheaper!"
I painted these vegetables in the Taiwanese market one by one with watercolors. I bought them, painted them, cooked them, and ate them!
It can be used as a notepad, a shopping list, or even a letterhead.
